Canam-Appraiz is a leading Industrial Auctioneer in Ontario and the Toronto area, conducting auctions across a wide variety of industries. In many instances, for example, when heavy machinery and equipment is involved, We can hold sales at the business premises or we can remove and sell at our facility, either on it’s own or in many cases mixed with other consignors, to share expense costs. Auction items can vary from restaurant fixtures and office equipment to industrial tools and machines.

Deposits
In order to ensure that the auction is attended by serious bidders only, we require that an earnest deposit be paid in advance of the event. This deposit is fully refundable and will be returned in the case of unsuccessfull bids.
Buyer’s Premium
We charge a small percentage, known as a Buyer’s Premium, to cover auction costs. This fee is 16%. For payments made by Cash or Certified Check, the Buyer’s Premium is 13%.
Absentee Bids
If you are interested in bidding on items at one of our upcoming auctions, but are unable to attend, you are welcome to submit an Abseentee Bid Form. This allows one of your company representatives to place bids on your behalf at the auction.
